Fabrizio Battaglino, Nebbiolo d'Alba 2011 Colla

Wonderfully intense fruit. For a Nebbiolo, this has to come from the Roero region as it could never be mistaken for a Barolo or Barbaresco. A good alternative style though. This has very good tannic support and quite crisp acidity. Develop well.

Cépagement: 100% Nebbiolo

Upbringing: Hand harvested. 15 day fermentation in stainless steel. Aged 12 months in Allier barriques (30%)
