Trebbiano: White Wine and Armagnacs

As Trebbiano, it is Italy's most widely planted white grape variety and makes crisp, refreshing wines with citrus, green apple and subtle almond notes. It is a versatile food-friendly wine, perfect for everyday enjoyment. With food, it pairs best with seafood, antipasti, light pasta etc but it can be enjoyed on its own too.

In France it is known as Ugni Blanc, the grape of brandies such as Armagnac, perhaps the most complex of all brandies, especially those with vintage pedigree.
