Tenute Rubino, Salento Rosato 2024 'Oltremé'

This is a rosé in a class of its own. Susumaniello seems particularly suited to this style of wine: warm and sweet fruit but never domineering. Good acidity to balance the richness of the fruit.

Cépagement: 100% Susumaniello grown close to sea level (near the coast)

Soil: Sandy

Upbringing: Fermentation between 16-18°C in steel tanks. No malolactic fermentation. Ageing: 4 months in steel, 2 months in bottle.

ABV: 12.5%
