A superb vintage for this wine. Very fresh and fruity with soft, ripe tannins, this will drink well young but age well for many years. It shows intense, ripe fruit - plenty of Cabernet blackcurrant but with subtle contributions from some of the other 20 varieties apparent (if you can spot them).
Drinking Dates: 2025 to 2035+
Cépagement: 75% Cabernet Sauvignon plus 20 other varieties.
Upbringing: Classic Medoc vinification. Long fermentation and maceration (20 days minimum) in stainless steel tank. No filtration. Aged 12 to 15 months in oak barrel (1 to 7 years old barrels).
ABV: 13.5%
Critic review:
' Slight rubbery tang to the nose – youthful, bright black fruit in support. Fine, plasticine tannins and medium body that balances well with moderate acid. Fragrant spiciness. Moderate length – perhaps in a bit of a lull, with more to come?' 16.5+/20 (jancisrobinson.com)
