Mas de Daumas Gassac, IGP St-Guilhem-le-Désert 2021 Blanc

A gorgeous blend of grapes usually found all over France but, in this case, all grown at the Daumas Gassac estate in the Herault Valley. It works fantastically well and, in its youth, presents a crisp and fruity blend that can age into something quite beguiling after 10-12 years or so.

Drinking Dates: 2023 to 2033

Cépagement: 29% Viognier – 24% Chardonnay – 21% Petit Manseng – 11% Chenin Blanc and 14% rare grape varieties. 35hl/ha.

Upbringing: Skin maceration for 5 to 7 days. Fermentation in stainless steel tank. Aged 2-4 months in stainless steel tanks.
