The Languedoc really doesn't get much better than this wine which sees Cabernet grafted from Latour intermixed with an assortment of varieties to make this quite unique but always delicious. 2019 was a very warm vintage which makes the wine a little more approachable in its youth but not at the expense of complexity, longevity or deliciousness.

Critic review:
' Red cherries, petals, night jasmine. As I found with the 2017,the perfume on this wine is persistent, haunting and so lovely that it gave me goosebumps. And then massive intensity of fruit exploding through lightly webbed, sherbety tannins. Throaty, sonorous wine that tastes like liquid Morricone, Gabriel’s Oboe; so beautiful I felt the wine almost like an ache in my chest. But don’t drink it yet. Give it five years, at least.' 17.5+/20 (jancisrobinson.com)
