Domaine Joblot, Givry 1er Cru 2014 Clos des Bois Chevaux
£25.00

Youthful but very promising Burgundy from the leading estate in the Chalonnaise. The Joblots blend and bottle this cuvee first so it is always a little more forward on release although it does close up a little later (usually at around 3-5 years). More black-fruited than other cuvees in the range, decidedly delicious. Was £30

Critic review:
'Pale ruby in color with marked dark fruit and perfume aromas. Elegant. Very primary with expressive black cherry notes on the palate. Crisp acidity. Very pretty wine.' 89/100 (WineBeserkers)
