| Deep red-black fruit with just the merest whiff of oak. Decent tannin and great acidity suggest this wine - which is hugely enjoyable now - could last much longer than it will probably be given by anyone who owns a bottle or two. The Grenache is inevitably very quiet here, only included to comply with the appellation rules which don't allow for mono-varietal wines. This is a stunningly delicious, powerful Mourvèdre. |
