Château de Beaucastel, Côtes du Rhône 2023 'Coudoulet de Beaucastel' Blanc (6x75cl)
£120.00
|
2023 Coudoulet Blanc is the usual blend, by which I mean it contains a good amount of Viognier (not allowed in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, just about the only local variety that isn't) as well as Marsanne, Bourboulenc and Clairette. It is a classic Coudoulet Blanc: light, fresh and fruity with perky acidity and good length.

Critic review:
The 2023 Côtes du Rhône Blanc Coudoulet de Beaucastel presents vivid lemon flesh, honeysuckle, yellow apple, herbal nuances and a slice of pear on the enticing aromatic profile. Medium-bodied at most, this refreshing white bundles plentiful elegance and closes with a bright finish of acceptable length.' 89/100 (Nicolas Greinacher, vinous.com) |
