Tasting Notes: Stunning white Burgundy, this is a concentrated and creamy wine, the sort that can only be made from old vines. Rich with fine integrated oak and a stylish and long finish. | Drinking Dates: 2012 to 2018 | Cépagement: 100% Chardonnay (south-facing hillside vineyards) | Soil: Clay | Upbringing: 100% destemmed. Fermented in barrels filled to allow a little airspace on top. Half the wine was fermented in new barrels and 50% in second year barrels. The various parcels were then blended and aged for 12 months in barrique. | ABV: 13% |
