Tasting Notes: Elegant and intense, with notes of raspberry, wild fruit and tobacco. Warm, pleasant, with plenty of tannins. Needs another three or four years to soften.

Bottled 36 months after the harvest. | ABV: 14.5% | Critic Reviews: "Very tightly wound for the vintage. The tannins remain surprisingly firm. An attractive core of dark cherries, plums, mint and flowers struggles to emerge from beneath the wine's considerable structure. At times though, the Castelletto is deeply expressive, especially in the insistent, focused finish.
