Tasting Notes: The Cinsault gives this wine a fresher lift than the more serious (and long-lived) 'Les Claux'. Redder fruit (cherries and plums) too and good intensity without being at all heavy.
All wines from this estate | Drinking Dates: 2019 to 2023 | Cépagement: Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault. | ABV: 14.5% | Critic Reviews: 'A red that appeals for its sincerity, able to conquer the palate of the lovers with a direct and linear sip, revealing itself without too many frills. These are the virtues of the Rouge “Les Argiles” made by the Domaine Raymond Usseglio, a reality that is able to churn out always credible labels in Côte du Rhône. A perfect bottle when you want to give yourself an easily drinkable French red.' (Wine Advocate) |
