Tasting Notes: Located below the village of Gigondas, the Domaine is is the last Clos still existing in Gigondas. Its
historic three-hectare vineyard of very old Grenache on limestone soils with marly-sand.
The 2020 vintage has a deep ruby colour. Aromas of red fruits, liquorice, and just a whiff of oak. Deep and complex on the palate with characteristic aromas of violet and liquorice, powerful yet balanced.

| Drinking Dates: 2023 to 2030 | Cépagement: Mainly Grenache with some Syrah. | Upbringing: Aged in oak casks for 15 months. | ABV: 15% | Critic Reviews: 'Mid crimson. Has the garrigue and gently floral aroma of the L'Argnée Gigondas 2020. A little bit toasty too. Deliciously scented. Firm and serious on the palate. Finely dry tannins. A restrained style compared with the Famille Perrin La Gille Gigondas 2020.' 17/20 (Julia Harding MW, jancisrobinson.com) |
