Tasting Notes: Deep garnet red in colour; the nose is richly complex and intensely floral with violets and roses, with very crisp red fruits (raspberry and strawberry), together with notes of leather and spices including black pepper and cloves, and liquorice. The wine is full and mellow, well balanced, with a nice tannic structure that promises a great future. It’s a Barbaresco that perfectly combines finesse and power.

| Drinking Dates: 2025 to 2035 | Cépagement: 50% Grenache, 35% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre, 5% Cinsault. | Upbringing: Vinified and aged in a variety of containers: Wine Globe, truncated wooden vats, stainless steel vats and rough concrete vats. Some of the Grenache grapes are aged in Vinarium for 24 months, a room designed by Xavier and his team. This 7,000-litre vat is made of stainless steel and wood and includes five 200-litre barrels, which are themselves filled with wine: an ideal environment for ageing the wine. The Mourvèdre and Syrah were aged in demi-muids and truncated wooden vats. The Cinsault and the rest of the Grenache were aged in Wine Globe. | ABV: 14.5% |
