Tasting Notes: The first bottled of the Joblot Premier Cru wines, the Clos Marole, always shows blacker fruit character even though it is exactly the same clone. 2017s are vibrantly fruity and the Marole is no exception. Quite forward, when we opened a bottle to try it again shortly after it arrived in the UK, it was finished quite quickly (usually, in these circumstances, it makes it to the following day at least). A very attractive wine.
