Tasting Notes: Astonishingly intensely flavoured wine but, true to form, it retains Stef Usseglio's hallmark elegance. The Mourvedre-based fruit is, inevitably, very black in both colour and character and, of course, very tannic but still manageable even now. It will benefit from 5-15 years ageing though. And, because it is deemed atypical by Robert Parker, the price is, for once, heading in the right direction.
