Tasting Notes: Gorgeous black fruit characters, very complex. Needs time although it will drink extremely well at a young age.
All wines from this estate | Drinking Dates: 2017 to 2032 | Cépagement: 70% Mourvèdre. 20% Grenache, 10% Syrah | Upbringing: 3 week fermentation in cement vats where it remains for another 10 weeks for malolactic fermentation before being transferred to oak casks for 12 months. Bottled unfiltered | ABV: 14.5% | Critic Reviews: 'More soft and supple than the 2011, with sweet cassis, olive tapenade, herbs and a background meatiness, the 2012 Part des Anges is medium to full-bodied, rich and deeply fruited. There's a modern profile here, yet it should integrate nicely with bottle age.' 91-93/100 ( Jeb Dunnock, Wine Advocate)
