Tasting Notes: In this second vintage of "Seraphin", Ciaran has gone all the way and made a pure Grenache cuvee. Even more purity of fruit than the 2009 and better definition too, a hallmark of the superb 2010 vintage. There is a little more acidity, giving the black cherry fruit more crunchy bite. | Drinking Dates: 2015 to 2020 | Cépagement: 100% Grenache | Upbringing: Aged in stainless steel tanks. | ABV: 14% | Critic Reviews: "Medium-deep, young colour. Powerful nose driven by stone fruits and liquorice sweets with a heady touch. Supple, quite soft palate showcasing fragrance. The heat of the Grenache is more noticeable on the finish. The typical attributes of a southern wine." ( Gilbert & Gaillard) |
